Who are the people behind BookBase? 👥
A brief summary of the team...

It would be difficult to go through the whole history of OM, because 3 Blog Posts would not be enough, so I thought I would present the current situation.
"After all, what's happening now that matters. The rest is history."
It took about 1.5-2 years for this team to come together in this form.
Everyone has their own tasks and their own specialisms, and I love working with them because everyone is sufficiently independent and doesn't have to be constantly tutored like ducklings. They know that I'm always there if they need help, but I encourage them to be independent and problem-solving all the time.
The people who created the site and the App:
🐋 Krisztián Kopunovics aka Kokesz
Kokesz is the world's most persistent person, loves designing and is quite good at it. He has a big black cat (not supposed to be his), who is always on his laptop. So, he's responsible for everything you see in front of you, fun fact he designed the cover pictures here.
🦭 Edvárd Nyeső aka Edu
Edu is cheekily young, but he was already developing a social media app at the age of 9, when I was still playing in sandbox. Imagine him as the hacker dude from the movies only difference is that they much funnier and brutally good at Gokart. He's in charge of all the programming, so if something doesn't work on the site or in the App, you now know who the responsible for it.
The ones who shortened the Books:
✍🏼 István Göblyös aka Pityu
Pityu I think is one of the few people who loves reading even more than me and has read more books than me in his life. His favourite subjects are philosophy and sociology, but he shortens everything down for us, he's like a machine but more creative and you can talk to him about any topics. He's so clever that he's even been snapped up by a foreign company. Anything book shortening goes through him, whoever on the team shortened it, so if you don't like something, you have to get to him.
🦁 Ádám Gyovai aka Gyova
You may already know Gyova, I think we have been working together for about the longest time. He is the unofficial funniest member of the OM team. He also edits the podcasts and does the financial book shortcuts, that's his specialty, he reads so many of those books that makes him sometimes dreams about financial concepts.
💪🏼 Ádám Kókai aka Bögszi
Bögszi is the newest member of the team, but I think he's the strongest, I'm not kidding... he's really trained. It's rare to find someone who is so big, yet so nice and knowledgeable about the world. I met Bögszi at one of the audience meetings and I knew right then that we would work together somewhere. Bögszi's knowledge and desire for knowledge is what makes him unique.
Who manages the BookClub and Customer Support:
💬 Daniel Gödöllei aka ... hm Dani doesn't have a nickname he is just Dani
Dani is the man who has had 6 or 7 different jobs and has been perfect in all of them. The reason for changing the positions were that he always excelled in his field and needed new challenges. Customer Support is what he has found his calling and what I think he is the best at, as he is very patient with people and knows the solution to every problem (sometimes Edu helps out).
The people who made you find BookClub:
🖼 Gergő Bujdosó aka Geri
Geri is the man who surprises us day after day with those brutal Instagram posts. No joke, sometimes even I am breathless, even though I already know what to expect. You shouldn't play volleyball or football with Geri, because he's a real pain in the ass at all of them. Besides that, he has a great sense of humour and makes brutally good music in the car. I'd link his Spotify account, but he's keeping it a secret from us...
🎞 Thomas Batu aka Batu / Batu Khan
Batu is in charge of the whole YouTube, so as I say, the WHOLE YouTube! Everything that happens on that platform is his responsibility. He edits videos, comes up with better and better titles, catchy thumbnails and manages the channel. He's probably the most creative of the whole team, no offense to the rest of you reading this. Since Batu has been doing everything on the channel, he's got about 10X the ratings. We will now be looking for a video editor right next to Batu to take over certain tasks from him.
🦤 And finally, me, Kristóf Szabó aka Gringo or (the Online Marketing/TikTok guy, which I don't like so much)
I was the one who came up with the idea of the BookBase back in the day. I think you might know me from some of the channels, I'm like a "fireman", trying to solve problems everywhere.
My favourite team is Real Madrid, I love playing football (but I run out of breath in 3 minutes).
I lived in Italy for 6 months (since then I am quite critical to pasta and Pizza). I climbed a volcano in Iceland (it was very small, but it sounds good). Not incidentally, life has given me the good fortune to learn from some of the best people (about living a balanced life, entrepreneurship and more).
🚨If you see anything stupid it's usually my responsibility, and since I'm the leader everything is my responsibility...
I know it was a bit long, but that's how many of us at BookBase!
