I wanted to be a billionaire by the age of 30 - which I can still do - but at what cost?
💡 Side note: It is important to clarify Billionaire does not mean you have 1 billion forints in cash, it means you have 1 billion forints worth of assets (investments, companies, real estate, etc.)
Everything in life has a price...
The question is, do you really want to pay that price? 🤨
And now I'm not going to talk about "Hustle culture" and "hard work", that's a different topic. ❌
Billionaire status is achievable by the age of 30, but at what cost?
Before we get started, let's see... 👀
🚀 How's the challenge?
🎧 The Spotify of self-improvement
Young people waste an average of 6 hours 57 minutes a day in front of their phones, rather than investing that time in themselves. ⏰
In a perfect world, young people could improve anywhere, anytime, learn from authentic sources that are short enough and can be listened to without too much effort. They would have short exercises at the end of the lessons, designed only to apply the knowledge they have acquired to their everyday lives. 🤩
It would be like the Spotify of self-improvement! 🎧
More precisely, not only would it be, but it already exists, in short, it's the BookBase! 🧠
Which means that wherever you are, whatever your situation, just plug in your headphones and learn from the smartest people in the world. 🤵🏽♂️
There are 14-minute summaries so almost anyone can fit it into their day. It's broken down into categories so anyone can find their own area of interest. The whole BookBase costs £4,000, which is the price of 1 book a month so you get access to 300+ summaries in return. Not only is it more cost-effective, but thanks to the practical exercises, you'll also retain more knowledge. 💰
Soon after launch, BookBase even overtook Duolingo on Appstore and was the app of the day in the Education category. Since then, more than 1,500 young people use it daily and accelerate their own development. 📈
Don't miss out! 🫵🏼

🔥 Streak is ready and hopefully will be live this weekend
It's already in beta testers, they found 2-3 minor bugs, which Edu jumped on right away. But Streak Calendar, Notifications and the much-anticipated Streak Rewards are working very nicely!
📝 Kokesz's Ultimate List
Kokesz wrote a long list of things he will perfect on the Roadtrip. So far, the goal was to go as fast as possible. Now it's more about being as perfect as possible for our users.
And that is Kokesz's superpower! So, I'm already curious to see what the App will look like by the end of the 24th day! 🤩
🚀 We were invited to a Startup competition
We are not going as competitors, but as guests, but we are just as excited. My friend Joci is organizing it and it's the final. There will be some really big names on the jury and Joci says that there are 1-2 really bold ideas. 😎
Since this competition is even announced by us, I secretly hope that there will be 1-2 OM followers among the finalist teams! 🙏🏻
Ok, now we can get into today's topic! 🪓
💭 Why is this important to understand?
I'll start from a bit further away now. 🔭
Many people say that you shouldn't think in terms of "Either-Or", but in terms of " Also-also", which is half true... 🤔
But it can't be applied to every aspect of life. And this is what I learned too late! 😔
I was on the verge of burnout and in a bad mental state by the time I realized this back then. 😪
But why?!
Because I wanted to be on top of everything, take time for everything and be good at everything, but it led to me overworking myself and not being anywhere I was REALLY GOING. 🥵
This was the first level - Recognition.
Then I realized that I couldn't do it!
And... I started putting business before everything, friends, family, sometimes even health. 💰
Then I noticed that I see my grandma less, see my brother less, Kinga and I don't have many activities and I work all day. 😞
That was the second level - The realization.
It was the first time in me to question what all the Gurus taught me, to think only in terms of "also-also". 🧐
I understand that abundance is thinking and dreaming big, but everyone has the same amount of one thing... 🧠
Time! ⏳
If, here too, I would think that I want this and that...
Then the only way I could achieve that would be to reduce my time for both. ⬇️
However, if I reduce my time, then the quality of the time goes down. 📉
Let's look at an example:
You have 1 hour and you need to record a video + meet your grandmother. 🎥 👵🏼
Deep down, you know that both would be at least 1-1-hour programs, but you're like "I'll manage somehow". 😉
I'll tell you what the result of this action will be: you'll have a moderately bad video and a very superficial conversation with your grandmother. 🫤
You were hoping that this would be the equation in the end: 1 video + 1 good conversation
But what you actually get is: 0.3 video (because it's bad) + 0.4 conversation (because you can only get into superficial stuff in half an hour) 😵💫
So instead of your hour being: 1+1=2...
Unfortunately, you only got: 0.3+0.4=0.7, so it's worse than if you had only focused on one! ❌
And this is exactly what it means that everything has a price. 💰
🛩 There is a price for a successful life.
🍻 There's a price for a Tuesday night party.
🎞 There's a price for starting a Netflix series.
And often these prices are NOT in HUF’s or any other currency, but in missed opportunities! 💭
A small request: if you've enjoyed today's article so far and learned something new from it, I'd be very grateful if you could send it to a friend or just share it on social media. It would help a lot in getting more people to read my thoughts.
Thank you! 🧡
But let's see... 👀
🧐 How to turn this to your advantage?
Last week I read a book called "Essentialism". 📕
📕 Book recommendation: "Essentialism" by Greg McKeown is a perfect book for those who feel they don't have enough time. Or that time is running out. For me, it has helped me a lot to clarify the really important things in my life. Of course, it's also up on BookBase, under the title "How to be essential". 🎧
The knowledge in this book helped me a lot to see the really important things! 👁
One of those exercises was to write a list of things that make me happy. Then think about how I could do more of them? 💭
These things were on my list:
🧡 Quality time with my loved ones
🌍 Travel
🏄🏼♂️ Trying new things
✍🏼 Writing
📖 Reading
💭 Reflection
I had to realize that if I wanted to be a billionaire by the time, I was 30, I would have to invest all my saved money in something money-making. But then I could cross 2 things off my happiness list: travel and trying new things. ❌
Then I got sad, put the book down and took out my phone - for some dopamine - to see if it would cheer me up a bit. 📲
After 2 spins, I was confronted with a video that put the icing on the cake!
It was good old Alex Hormozi talking. Quote:
"I would give all my money to be 25 again."
I thought to myself, if this man, would give away all his wealth to be almost as old as I am (I'm 26), I should appreciate it a lot more! 🙏🏻
And make the most of it! 💪🏼
💡 Side note: I always get caught up with videos, books, etc. at the right time, somehow. Or maybe it's just me that sees it as "just the right" time.
📕 Book recommendation: "Men searching for meaning" is a perfect read on this topic. Don't be fooled by the title, it's in Hungarian up at BookBase. I recommend it for those who want to review their own lives from a bit of a distance.
Looking back:
My parents, my friends' parents, and my adult acquaintances always tell stories that happened when they were up to 30 years old. After that, it's like they cut something off... Like their lives are more boring. 🤔
It made me realize that I need to enjoy this era and invest in having a good number of stories! Not to be as boring as 1-2 relatives who tell the same stories non-stop. 😪
Experiences matter, it's one of the investments in knowledge that no one can take away from you! 🏄🏼♂️ 🧠
And if we question things a bit (from a purely financial perspective for now):
What makes me work so hard?
To make more money. - Why do I need more money?
To have more opportunities. - Why do I need more opportunities?
To have more experiences and stories to tell.
But why wait until I'm 30 when I can do the same thing now. I'm not staying in a 5-star hotel, I'm staying in a cool Airbnb, I'm not eating at a Michelin-starred restaurant, but at a Kebab restaurant, I'm not travelling first class, but in the economy. 🤔
But I can do all these things now! 😉
💡 Side note: People always overestimate how much money they would need to make their dreams come true. Many times, a lot less money is enough you just have to look at it from a different perspective.
That's why I decided to stop procrastinating on my bucket list goals. On Sunday, we're leaving for a huge tour of 24 days. 🚗
There is no set plan, but we will travel in this direction: 🇦🇹 Austria - 🇱🇮 Lichtenstein - 🇨🇭 Switzerland – 🇮🇹 Italy.
But what can you do? 👀
✅ What exactly can you do?
[ ] First step, look at what your goals are? If they're not specific, that's fine for now. 🎯
[ ] Step two, look at what price would you have to pay to achieve them? 💰
[ ] Step three, look at what makes you happy? ☺️
[ ] Step four, check your goals against each other to see if they overlap. ⚖️
[ ] Step five, if so awesome! If not, look at how you can change your goal so that the cost doesn't affect your happiness (e.g., I don't want to reach it by the age of 30, I want to reach it later) 🤔
[ ] Step six, adjust your plan accordingly. 📝
[ ] Step seven, follow the plan and do something about your happiness! Because how bad would it be if you only had 5-6 stories to repeat to your grandchildren. 🏄🏼♂️
And, to go back to the question I asked at the beginning, succeeding at my planned goal would involve spending less time with my family and Kinga, isolating myself to work mindfully and not traveling anywhere so my time isn't "wasted". And do I want to pay that price? 🤔
Umm, thank you No!
I'm fine with being a billionaire by the time I'm 35 or 40. (If I still care about it at all by then).
🔥 Challenge
There's one I've already started thinking about...
How I'm going to write the blog alongside the travel. ✍🏼
Because, I promised myself that I won't miss 1 week this year! So, I need to find time for that too. ❌
Since I have plenty of time to work on the other platforms in advance, I'm going to use the time I've saved there for this. I think my days will be spent travelling and programming during the day, and 1-2 hours in the evening for blogging and reading. 📖
So hopefully all blogs will be out on time! 🗓
📖 What have I just read?
I finished the book "Essentialism", which helped me to write this article. 👁
Lately I've been reading books in such a way that I have to incorporate 1 thing into my life after each chapter. If I don't incorporate it, why would I read? For fun max, but not for progress for sure. Here is a simplified list for you to go through:
I wrote a list of my really important tasks. 📝
I put these tasks on my calendar for a recurring event. 🗓
I set up automations, for example, when I write the Blog (Wednesday from 10:00am), I switch my phone to black and white so it doesn't distract me - so I was thinking systemically here too. 🤖
Since I've 100% incorporated what I read in the previous book, I started the next one. "Traction" by DuckDuckGo founder Gabriel Weinberg. 🦆
I feel this book will help me to dare to experiment with new platforms. 🧪
After all, TikTok is starting to be figured out. Specifically, TikTok has asked to display these ads in their "Top Ads" menu because they think they are performing so well (I don't think they are bad, but we need a lot more than that to reach the 10,000 goal). ❌
I made a huge deal on Vinted. 💰
I always check the books on sale to see if there's anything good worth buying in full. 👀
Vinted isn't bad, it's just deceptive with books because you see that it's 1,000 forints, but you add on 400 forints "buyer's premium" (which is Vinted's fee by the way) and 1,300 forints shipping (it varies). So, the book is already 2,700 forints, and in the store, it's said 3,500. ❌
This time I went upstairs and couldn't believe my eyes, I found 5 books I wanted to read (luckily, they were in English, I prefer to read in the original language because there are no mistranslations). But 5 delivery charges would have been too much... 🫤
However, the 5 books were put up by the same seller, so I bought them in 1 package and only had to pay 1x shipping fee. I bought 5 bestseller books for 5.500.
High output management - It's up in BookBase! 🎧

But, if you'd like a custom book recommendation, simply post on Instagram and I'd be happy to help! 💬
🎧 What have I just listened to?
We talked about Aristotle in philosophy class and how he thought in terms of reality. While Plato saw ideas, Aristotle believed in science. 💭
He put everything in order - he also put philosophical concepts in order. 🗂
I begin to understand the flow of philosophy.(Socrates taught Plato, who taught Aristotle, so the big names are connected)
I have a lot to learn from him about systematics. It's a good thing I wrote this down, because now I'll have a push to improve on it! 🧠
