🎞 New Mini Documentary: Unshakable Self-Confidence
⏰ Time to write: 9 hours 13 minutes
I promised to bring a problem and show you how I solve it.
It's true that I didn't bring a business problem, but I'm confident that this might help you even more than that. 🙏🏻
In this post I'll show you how I changed my mindset thanks to 1 little Test. 🧠
But before we dive in, let's see...
🚀 How's the challenge going?
🎯 We met our January goals
We worked really hard with the guys and managed to tick all the tasks off the development list.
I feel like we're back on track now and we're scooting towards 10,000 active members by the thousands. 🔥
February will not be much more relaxed, but who wants relaxed?!
For 10X goals, you have to put in 10X effort!
📕 Book recommendations: It wasn't hard to guess, I learned this from Grant Cardone's book "10X". It helps you understand the wonder of thinking big. You can find a summary in BookBase!
🗂️ The eagerly awaited Bookmark
Edu and Kokesz have gone all out and made the "Drag and Drop" bookmark. 🕳️
Which means you just have to grab it and drag it down to where you were headed.
That way you'll never forget what you last read and you won't have to scroll down for hours to find the exact spot.
Update coming soon! 💡
🖥️ Webapp will be completely renewed in February
We have successfully expanded our team with Szabi, who is the best at Web stuff. So, they complement each other perfectly with Kokesz and Edu.
Just the kind of person we needed! 🙏
💡 Side note: Welcome to the team Szabi!
If you have any suggestions for the Web App, don't hesitate to drop me a message on my Instagram profile @gringobeast and we'll try to include it.
Let's get started...
🧐Where did this test come from?
This year I developed a new habit, I read 1 hour a day. 📖
So I've read nearly 1,000 pages in January.
At the end of last year I felt that one of my weaknesses was my mindset. I felt that I put too much energy on the professional line, but not enough on the mindset. 🧠
There was no balance.
So the first 2 books I read this year were all about that. ✅
The first was "Reality Transurfing" which explained spirituality in plain language. Finally, not some woo-woo, but proper facts.
But I found this particular Test in the second one. 🔮
"The Secret of Success: positive mental attitude" - by Napoleon Hill.
This reading was recommended to me 5 years ago, but somehow I couldn't bring myself to read it. Too bad...
It has such clear rules that I have never come across before!
💡 Side note: However, the 80-20 rule is especially true for this book. 80% of the book is just an explanatory story and the whole thing could be summarized in 10 pages.
📕 Book recommendation: For that very reason, we've summarized it in BookBase! I believe that if you listen to 2x the summary and complete the test, you will have gotten the gist of the book. If you're still interested in the explanatory stories after that, it's worth buying the full format.
I finished it yesterday and what I came across at the end was a complete surprise. 😱
It was a Test that "Tells you how far you are on the right track to success".
I thought to myself, of course, this is going to be like reading a horoscope. ♈
But I was so wrong! The Test gave me pinpoint results, you'll see...
However, before we get started, a quick look ahead...
This newsletter only grows organically, which means that the only way to get more people to read my writing is if you find it valuable and send it to 1-2 people you know.
I'm doing it all so that I can help as many young people as possible by sharing my experiences and thereby create a better world for ourselves.
Thank you if you help me with a forward! 🧡
💭 The Test
It helps to highlight mindsets or habits that can help you achieve success. 💎
The idea is that you have to answer Yes or No and it's important not to think too much about the answers, because that's how you'll get a real result. 📈
I suggest you get a pen and paper and number the questions and letters. For example 1 (a), 1 (b), etc.
Believe me, it will be easier in the end to add them up.
Be prepared it won't be short, but I promise it will be worth it...

(c) Do you have any good habits that you have recently developed in yourself? YES - NO
Huh that was tough...
But let's see what you have achieved! 👀
This is how you rate your answers:
NO is the correct answer to the following questions: 3c - 3d - 4b - 5b - 5c - 5e - 6b - 6c - 8a - 8d - 9b - 9d - 10c - 11b - 11c - 12c - 13a - 13c - 14c - 15b - 17a.
The correct answer to all other questions is YES. ✅
Your starting score will be 300 if you have answered all the questions correctly.
This is a perfect score, and so far, only an insanely low number of people have achieved it. Let's see what your score is! 🫵
The number of "YES" answers instead of "NO":
_______________________x 4 =_____________________________
If you answered "NO" to questions that should have been answered with "YES", 4 points will be deducted for each of them:
Hence the number of points for "NO" instead of "YES":
______________________ x 4 = _____________________________
Add these together and subtract from 300. This is your score. 🫡
💡 Side note: In short, for every wrong answer you get 4 points deducted.
Example:
The number of "YESes" given instead of "NOs" is 3, so: 3x4 = 12
The number of "NOs" given instead of "YES" is 2, so: 2x4 = 8
Total number of points for wrong answers: 12+8 = 20
Total score for perfect answers: 300
Minus the score of all wrong answers: -20
So your total score: 300-20 = 280
Rate yourself on the basis of your score:
300 points____________________ 🤩 Perfect (very rare)
275 . . . 299 points___________________ 😎 Good (above average)
200 . . . 274 points___________________ 😐 Medium (average)
100 . . . 199 points___________________ 😒 Poor (below average)
Below 100 points_______________ 😞 Unsatisfactory
I got a score of 256, so I made 11 errors, which put me at Average. 🤝
💡 Side note: I'm a bit disappointed, but at least now I know my weaknesses and what I need to improve!
📕 Book recommendations: Reading or listening to Napoleon Hill's "The Law of Success" and "Think and Grow Rich" will definitely help you correct your weaknesses. You'll find them both at BookBase!
But I won't let you go without a summary of what you've read so far.
So here's the usual...
✅ What exactly do you do?
[ ] First step, fill out the test honestly, it takes 10 minutes max. ⚖️
[ ] Step two, total your answers and add up your score. 📊
[ ] Step three, see which category you fall into. 🧿
💡 Side note: Don't get too discouraged, I'm in the "Average" category too, but at least we know where we start.
[ ] Step four, write down for yourself which answers you got wrong. ✒️
[ ] Step five, so you have a concrete list to improve on. 📋
[ ] Step six, sort the list by importance and start working on it. Make this your concrete plan for self-improvement. Read books, watch videos, do whatever you can to improve your weaknesses. 🧘♂️
[ ] Step 7, if you feel it has helped you, send it to 2 friends so they can complete it too. 👥
Because you know:
"You are the average of the 5 people closest to you."
So it's in your best interest that they improve too. Of course, only if you're a good friend!
🔥 Biggest obstacle
Selecting the best candidates for the positions. We are lucky that so many people want to be part of our team. 🙏🏻
We are even luckier that such outstanding people want to be part of our team. 💪🏼
So we're going to have a brutally difficult time assessing applicants.
I think you already know how the hiring process works. 😉
But, if not, I'll explain quickly...
There are 4 main parts, from which you can easily see the big picture:
📝 A simple questionnaire about who is motivated by what? Can we help them achieve their goals?
✂️ A mock test, in the field to which you have applied. It could be a written text, an edited video, anything that shows your professional skills.
📚 For a complex personality test, I usually take the HEXACO test, which has never failed. The essence is that it analyses people's bad traits and shows the extent of it.
☎️ And finally a Zoom call with me or the current team members. This is where we see what your communication skills are, what "vibe" you have, how well you would fit into the team.
So it's not easy to get in. 😳
💡 Side note: Kokesz didn't get in first either, let's say because he applied for a different position. But he is a prime example that if someone is persistent enough and develops, he can become a cornerstone of the OM team.
👷🏼♂️ Fix It Friday
It'll be a few days before the update goes out, but I'll tell you what's in it:
✅ The aforementioned Bookmark.
✅ The listening page will note where you were and drop you back there.
✅ The notifications will hopefully be fixed.
The main problem here was that you only got notifications if you had the App open in the background. Which let's be honest is pretty rare. 😕
So now Edu was looking for a new solution, which seems to be a good one for now. But it needs to run through a few more tests.
📖 What have I read now?
Started 10X by Grant Cardone, this will be the last book now on this topic. 📔
The goal with this reading list was to understand spirituality, the power of positivity and thinking big. 🧠
After that, marketing books will come again and then 1-2 leadership books.
🎧 What have I been listening to now?
Crypto faces will like this but I listened to the Original Bitcoin Whitepaper to get an even better understanding of the basics. The whole thing is 26 minutes, I think it's worth a listen. 🌐
The other is a bit more spiritual. This one is about Reality Transurfing - you know the book I read in January - this is a summary of that.
Here's the link to it: YouTube Link
