π New Mini Documentary: Overthinking - In Recording
β° This is how long it took to write: 9 hours 12 minutes
"How do I find my passion?"
"What do I do when I don't know what I want to be?"
"Which career is right for me?
If you've been asking yourself these questions, this blog post is for you! π«΅πΌ
But before we dive headfirst into the concentrated knowledge, let's see...
π How's the challenge?
β Quick question
Because it's hard to reach 100,000 subscribers by the end of the year. So I'm already thinking about a new hybrid system.
How about a suggestion in the future to have free mail every 2 weeks and paid mail every 2 weeks.
Subscription would be about 2.000 Ft/month and you would have access to all the material in the same way!
π I have prepared a lot of bonuses
They will be added to the BookBase soon, so both old and new subscribers will get them. I've realized that it's pointless guessing what problems you're encountering, it's easiest to ask and make a solution!
So, I did, here are the results:
π° How to secure your future - Asset Building Strategies
β° How to Combat Procrastination - Efficiency Boosting Methods
π§ How to Stay Calm Under Pressure - Stress Management Techniques
π€― How to Stop Overthinking - Overthink Prevention System
π― How to Set Goals - Ultimate Goal Setting System
β³ How to Manage Your Time - The Perfect To-Do List
πͺπΌ How to Build Self-Confidence - Self-Confidence Booster
π« How to survive school - Super School System
I've literally crammed all my knowledge on these topics so far into these!
π It's hard to focus lately
I have a thousand thoughts and sometimes even I fall into the trap of overthinking. Right now, I'm trying to figure out what got me into this state and how I can get back to the old one.
There are so many things I want to try, places I want to travel to and I'm thinking:
I'm going to keep my head down and work even harder to build my future πͺπΌ
or travel more and see the world when I'm young π
The question is rather, where is the happy medium?
And I can only find the answer to that question within myself!
Besides, there are a thousand more similar questions circling in my mind.
So, when you think that other people must have perfect lives or no problems, it's not true. I am struggling with the same problems as you, just on different levels. ππ»
π Book recommendation: Derek Sivers' book "How to Live" can help you overcome this obstacle. It reveals more than 20 possible ways of living, from which we can choose to our heart's content. You'll find it in BookBase! π§
But before I completely kill the mood, let's see...
π Why is choosing a career so difficult?
Mostly because it is one of the most important decisions of our lives and we don't want to "mess it up".
It doesn't help that we already have a million careers to choose from. From AI programmer to tractor repairer, you can do - and make a living doing - almost anything! π€―
Many people also feel the pressure because their grandparents or parents keep asking them "do you know what you want to be yet?".
After all, at our age they "knew a long time ago"! π΅πΌ
Well, that could be because in their time there were significantly fewer professions and globalization was not as advanced. So, it was inconceivable that someone from Hungary could work in, say, Dubai and live at home (unless he was a pilot). βοΈ
You could say that it was easier for them to make the decision, but that's not entirely true either!
It was equally difficult for them, but they had to commit faster! They went straight to work after school or university and it was very rare for someone to change careers, as it was the equivalent of wasted time. Which the system of the time did not like! π€¨
Deep down we are afraid that if we make the "wrong" choice we will waste a lot of time, but this is not true! We are not wasting time; we are gaining experience!
Here is my story for example:
π‘ Side note: It's OK to try something and stop after 10 months. Many people think they have "lost" 10 months, but that is NOT TRUE. You have gained 10 months of experience that you can use later. I learnt to make websites from my first web shop, then from my website building business, I learnt to do marketing, then I realized why not do marketing myself. Voila, OM was born! But it wouldn't have worked without that first experience!
But for many people it's still a scary career choice, because what if they completely miss the mark and don't get any relevant experience from their first attempt? π°
After all, we're just "guessing"... Yes, but we can be better at guessing if we follow certain rules!
This is called "Educated Guess", which means, in short, an educated guess. So if you have more information, you can make a better guess!
In the next part of this post, I'll show you how you can make the best possible Educated Guess, too!
But firstβ¦

π§ How to choose a career?
It won't be about finding the Career you'll be happy doing for the rest of your life first time - although some people will, but it's impossible for everyone - it will be about finding the Career you're happy to start and are likely to gain relevant experience from! π²
I have 2 techniques for you today. One is shorter and simpler, the other is longer and more scientific. It doesn't matter which one you do, one will help someone, one will help someone else. Do whichever one you like best.
1. The Ikigai π―π΅
This technique alone has helped a lot of people.
First let's look at what the word itself means:
Ikigai means: (η γ η² ζ 'the reason for being') is a Japanese term that refers to something that gives one a sense of purpose, a reason for living. It is often compared to concepts such as mission, dream, vision and meaning of life.
That's all well and good so far! The question is how we can find it.
Here are 4 questions to help Us:
What do we love to do? β€οΈ
What are we good at? π
What are we good at? πΈ
What does the world need? π
Let's look at a fictional example:
β€οΈ What do I like to do? - Exercise
π What am I good at?
πΈ What do I do to make money? - Personal training, Making a diet
π What does the world need? - More healthy people
Result:
Personal trainer ππΌββοΈ
Dietician π₯
Functional trainer πͺπΌ
Physiotherapist π₯
etc.
π‘ Side note: These 4 questions seem very simple, but they require a lot more thinking. I would take 20-30 minutes to think at least! Take your time, after all, this is one of the most important "guesses" of your life.
2. The OM technique π§‘
I know, it sounds really lame, but I'm writing it that way so you know that we really invented it. More specifically, we put it together. It was invented by much smarter people than us, but no one has put it all together yet.
There will be overlaps with Ikigai, so don't be surprised!
There are 3 elements to this technique:
1 interview π
1 book π
1 test π
1. Interview with Warren Buffet
He was asked, how did he know he wanted to be an investor?
He replied:
"I didn't know, I was just trying."
So, what advice would you give to young people on how to find their passion? π§
"Take out a pen and paper, think for 20-30 minutes and write down everything that interests you even a little bit. Really anything! From the mayor to the astronaut. Try to write at least 25.
Once the allotted time is up, sort the list according to which one interests them the most. From top to bottom!
Then, once you have that, draw a big line after the first 5. And pull out the oneβs underneath, completely, stitch them off the page. You can't focus on those, because you don't have that much time in your life. So that leaves 5 that they're definitely interested in, they just have to try those."
So, we've got a list of 5 things we're interested in, time to jump to the next step!
2. The only thing
Gary Keller's brilliant book, "The One Thing", will now be of help.
π Book Recommendation: The whole point of the book is to try to focus on 1 thing at a time, because the more things that take our focus away, the slower we will move. Of course, this is also up in BookBase! π
A very good example is also given in the book by Gary:
"Imagine a running race where you are competing and Usain Bolt. You probably run fast, but not as fast as him. But what if you both had a 1-1 10kg backpack on your back. It would still be faster. But what if he had 5 of those backpacks on his back? You could overtake him, couldn't you!
Now imagine all these backpacks, all these different projects you're trying to carry at the same time, the more of them you have, the slower you go. So, focus on just one!"
So, we learned to go from top to bottom and focus on 1 at a time. But give it time. Give 1-1 of these opportunities at least 3 months or more, depending on how you feel comfortable. The point is, don't decide in 1 week that it's not for you, but give him the chance to like it! π€
And finally, the last element of technique...
3. The personality test
That's, all well and good, but now comes the final ingredient to scientifically confirm your decision. And that is the "16 personalities" personality test. Don't be scared, it's all in English.
The gist is that people can be divided into 16 personality types and each of these personalities has its strengths and weaknesses. As a result, there are jobs that are better suited to one personality type or another. π
Once we complete the test, the site will show us our personality and also:
Which jobs are right for us? β
And what jobs are NOT so good for us? β
π‘ Side note: It's important to complete the 60-question test, which is the longer one, and answer the questions honestly, because only then will the results be accurate enough.
But it doesn't end here. The point is to compare the results obtained here with our list of 5 above.
Don't be alarmed if things come out that are not on our own list. That's no problem at all. There MAY be a problem if the items on our list match the items on the "What NOT to do" list. β
For example, you wrote down that you want to be a doctor and it came out based on your personality that it is NOT recommended for you. It is very IMPORTANT to note here that this does NOT mean that you cannot become a doctor. Rather, it just means that your personality starts from a tiny disadvantage compared to the average person, but with hard work anything is possible. π
However, I personally would listen to the results of the test, as it was compiled from the results of 10,000 people, so there is a pretty large sample size, which suggests the accuracy of the test.
I honestly believe that these 2 techniques will solve this problem for you, all you need is for YOU to take action! πͺπΌ

I swear this was fun to write out now, I think at 17 years old, I would have given all my money to have a list like this. I have to add I didn't have a lot of money, but I would have given it all away to get my problem solved!
Please, if it helped just write me feedback, either here or on Instagram, just to see if it is worth producing such articles.
Thank you! ππ»
π₯ Biggest obstacle
For 1 full day, 20% of audiobooks did not work. Due to a bug that I still can't figure out to this day. The point is that these books are on a server where everyone can access them. It's like a Google Drive, simplified. π
To this server, we had to add one of our friends so he could work with it. However, the server then detected that our account had been hacked and immediately banned us from everything. βοΈ
We wrote to Support, they told us to change our password, yes, they did, they just didn't send us a confirmation email because our account was blocked. So, after 2 days of fidgeting, it was resolved with great difficulty. So, on Wednesday the books were returned. πͺ
Although it didn't help that Edu was up all Tuesday night totally rewriting a part of the App so people could listen from another server. Honestly, a heroic act! It is commendable! ππ»
Now, if I were in a victim mentality, I might say:
"Again, just when the numbers have gone up so nicely and we have the most subscribers ever. There's always something happening, etc."
But that wouldn't move me forward at all!
Was I nervous?
Very!
The nerves were overwhelming! π€¬
But I knew I had to focus on the solution and making sure it never happened again. We have all the safety elements in place so it won't happen again.
It's the right mentality:
"This just happened! Suck it! But I need to focus on the solution to get us out of this hole as soon as possible, and then plug the hole so we never fall into it again, ergo to look at what caused it and fix it completely."
π Book recommendation: I can recommend my favorite book here, "The Obstacle Is the Way" by Ryan Holiday. It conveys exactly that mentality! It's a brilliant book, you can find it at BookBase! π§
π·πΌββοΈ Fix It Friday
Here's the new chapter of the Blog you asked for. These fixes are already in Beta:
There was an error when cancelling and not everyone was redirected to cancel β
1-2 people couldn't log in for some reason even though they had a subscriptionβ
A few books were not allowed to be added to playlists β
A few people had book lists that were not listed in the list β
In Playlist, it was possible to start books separately β
For challenges, any book could be started β
π What have I read now?
I'm still reading Ben Horowitz's book "The Hard Things About Hard Things", as I read more and more of it I like it more and more!
He gives his opinion on issues in a hard, raw way and shares all his experiences. It's like he's playing with his cards face up! Simply brilliant, although I must add quite an advanced book, but I like it! π
π§ What have I just listened to?
Alex Hormozi's video explaining how to build the perfect company. I wrote company and not business on purpose, because here he tells you how to make your company worth more if you ever sell it.
π‘ Side note: Caution, 1 hour and quite addictive!
