Many young people today want to be entrepreneurs, but simply don't know how.
"It's hard to find a good idea." 🤔
So, I'm dedicating this post to bust that myth and show you how easy it is for you to come up with ideas.
That's where AI will help us. 🤖
But before we dive in, here's some good news!
🚀 How's the challenge going?
🙏🏻 Mindset Meetup of 400 people
We dreamed big with the team and planned to create Hungary's biggest self-development event specifically for young people (ages 15-35)
There was already a 100-person event, a 200-person event, why not, now a 400-person event! 🤯
When I told my friends about it, everyone said it was crazy and that it COULD be done this way.
But you know us so well, for us the word "CAN'T" doesn't exist! We run to it for that reason alone. 💪🏼
But we really can ONLY do this together!
So, we need your help too!
I'll show you how it will be structured:
🧠 A Psychology Lecture (Overthinking, Starting a Business)
🤝 Speed Dating (split into age groups) - where you can easily meet 12 new people in 1 hour
🚀 An Entrepreneurship Lecture (I'll be talking to a successful young entrepreneur) - so even at your age, he'll be close to you
🗣️ An informal chat and Q&A
📍 Location: 1051, Budapest, CEU Nádor str. 15.
🗓️ Date: 16 March (Saturday) 13:00-19:00
💰 Price: price of 1 large pizzaBut that's not all! (Well, it was a bit of a teleshopos)
🎁 Bonus: We made a Communication Course of 10 videos, put together from all my experience and knowledge from books I've read so far.
It's specifically everything I know about Communication, EVERYTHING! 📚
It's not even available for sale yet! It's just a bonus with your tickets.
Everyone who buys a ticket to the Mindset Meetup by March 1st will receive email access to the entire course. 🧠
💡 Side note: This was all Kokesz' idea, so he gets the credit! I don't know why he's not our marketing guy.
💡 Side note: With a doubles ticket, of course you both get access.
You can book your ticket here:
See you there! 👋🏼
Okay, now that we're sufficiently ecstatic, it's time to get into today's topic. 🪓
😎 Why are ideas so easy to find?
For one, because you don't have to invent Spanish wax.
Your first business doesn't have to be world-changing. 🌏
In fact, it's better if you're already perfecting an existing idea, because then you'll know there's a real demand for it.
Demand means: what people want to buy. "They are looking for your product." That's what demand means in everyday language. 🔍
Think about it, if you have a hobby that you live for you die for. Then you could create a viable business by perfecting the tools you use there.
Lots of businesses have started this way!
The founder of Ethereum cryptocurrency (Vitalik Buterin), for example, started his project because he was fed up with the World of Warcraft game being dominated by developers. He hated centralised things and that's why he started to decentralise. 🎮
Or, to bring a more recent company, there's Arc Browser, which is what I'm using right now. It was created because the founders were fed up with Google's domination and wanted to create the perfect Internet, tailored to the needs of users and not simply driven by profit. 🌐
💡 Side note: I've tried a lot of them, but I've been on Arc Browser for over a year and I think I'll stay for the rest of my life if they keep developing it like this.
So that was the "on the one hand" part of my argument, let's look at the...
On the other hand, you have the help of a tool that has not been available to any entrepreneur in decades.
And that is none other than...
AI 🌟
The problem is that many people don't know how to use AI. Or they think that AI can do everything for them.
I must disappoint you, unfortunately this is not true! ❌
AI will not build your business for you, BUT...
It can help you a lot!
Before I show you how...
Let me give you a little insight.
This newsletter only grows organically, which means that the only way to get more people to read my writing is if you find it valuable and send it to 1-2 people you know.
I'm doing it all so that I can help as many young people as possible by sharing my experiences and thereby create a better world for ourselves.
Thank you if you help me with a forward! 🧡
🧐 How does AI help?
I'm going to give you for free the system that some AI Gurus charge hundreds of dollars for. 💵
I understand them too, because you have to make a living, but I'm more of a believer in abundance.
Just because I give it to you doesn't make it any less for me, nor does it do me any harm. 🤷
One thing AI is really good at is research. So we leave the dirty work to it and wait for it to outline our plans. We just need to take Step 1 on our own.
Step 1 - Who is your target audience? 🗣️
Figure out who you want to help. You can even start with yourself.
What problems do you have? What do you want to solve? 🤔
Or what problems do you see around you?
💡 Side note: I'll write the examples and AI commands in English because you'll get much better results.
For example: "18-30 overweight women who wants to get in shape and gain back their confidence" 👩
The AI won't help with that yet, but it will be the basis for everything.
So, it's worth spending more time on this, to get the target audience as clear as possible in your head.
Step 2 - What problems does your target audience have? 👀
Finally, we can use AI here.
Enter this command:
Act as a digital researcher. What are the 10 most painful issues for [target audience], list their pain points in order of importance and rank them by percentage. 🔬
Present the results in a table.
[Target audience]: 18-30 overweight women who want to get in shape and regain their self-confidence.
And voila, we got one of these results:
In 1 minute, we got the TOP 10 problems for the target audience and even broke down the top problems by percentage.
In the 2000s, this would have taken about 1 month of research and thousands of dollars.
Now, let's move on...
Step 3 - How could I solve these problems? 🧠
Now comes the part where we tell AI what we can do and wait for it to help us figure out how to solve the problems.
So here comes this command:
How could I solve these problems if I have knowledge in (fitness and personal training)? Provide exact examples for what can I sell to these people. 💪
In the bracket space, write your own specialty, what you are good at.
It shouldn't be long before you get this answer:
Wow, we have a solution to each of these problems. And with our current knowledge we can do it.
We are coming along nicely!
Step 4 - Turn it into a sellable format 💲
It's important to think well in advance in a way that is scalable.
Ergo, if 10,000 people wanted to buy it, we can still serve them. 📈
So, we put that in this order. Which goes like this:
Can you make a bundle which I can sell together in a program? While making the bundle pay attention on scalability and add as much value as possible. ⚖️
🤖: …
💡 Side note: Here you'll notice that the AI will be a bit off, but you don't have to incorporate every part of its design. What you like you take, what you don't you leave out OR rewrite with it.
Now we have our idea in a sellable form.
Step 5 - Pricing 🪙
Okay, but how much could this sell for in Hungary?
And how about thinking about a one-off price and a subscription price. 🧠
That's more predictable!
Here is the order:
What is a reasonable price for this in Hungary? Don't forget the target audience and their possible budget. Please think in 2 dimensions subscription based and one-time fee as well. You can write a too cheap, reasonable, bit expensive, too expensive price ranges. 🇭🇺
🤖: …
This will be perfect for us as a starting point, and then we'll change it along the way.
Step 6 - How do I market this? 📩
Right? Now comes probably the most important question.
How can I sell this? What is the best way to sell it? 💭
💡 Side note: AI helps here too, but it's also good to think creatively. Because in this area, AI's creativity is quite limited.
Let's see what we get for this command:
How would you market that, list all the solutions in order of importance and rank them percentage-wise and an explanation.
Present results in table. 📋
🤖: …
Okay, now it's all starting to come together.
Step 7 - What next? 🤷♂️
Now that you have everything in place, what else do you need to get started?
This is where AI is particularly clever, drawing our attention to things we might forget ourselves. 📝
So, the smartest decision is to simply ask it:
What are all the things I need to start this business by next week? List all the solutions in order of importance.
Present results in table. 📋
🤖: …
💡 Side note: We can see that there are 1-2 points that can be left out. For example, the referral program can be dropped at the start. The best thing to do is to always question the AI's answer and think critically. That way we can avoid blindly rushing to our doom.
Step 8 - What are my tasks? 🫡
One thing left to do!
Ask the AI what exactly I need to do then. 💯
Please make a very detailed to do list for all these tasks even include subtasks. It should be that detailed that a 10-year-old could do it.
Get ready this is going to be long...
🤖: …
Voila, with about 30 minutes of focused work, you have arrived at:
You have 1 target audience 🤝
They have a number of problems for which YOU have solutions 📝
You have a package deal 🎁
You have the pricing 💲
You know how to market it 🛒
And a concrete step-by-step plan to get you on the road to implementation 💪🏼
What is this if not innovation! 🤝
✅ What exactly do you do?
[ ] Step one, figure out your target audience you want to help. Feel free to spend more time on this because, this is the foundation of everything. 🤔
[ ] Step two, go through the questions. ☑️
[ ] Step three, write down the answers on a sheet of paper or a Notion page. 🖋️
[ ] Step four, question the answers you get. You know critical thinking. 🧠
[ ] Step five, turn the last answer into a checklist and you can start implementing. 👨🔬
I sincerely hope this post helps you see clearly and you will soon be starting your own business.
If you liked it, please check out the 400-person Mindset Meetup event, because I promise you'll learn even cooler things there. 👨🔬
Not to mention, you'll meet 400 like-minded young people and even get a Communication Course, where I'll share all my experiences so far.
There are 9 years squeezed in and we're giving it away with your tickets for those who buy by March 1st.
See you there! 👋🏼
🔥 Biggest obstacle
Right now, the biggest obstacle is related to myself improvement. Because I have nicely incorporated the habit of reading 1 hour a day this year.
So far, I've only missed 1 day and I'm at nearly 1,400 pages read and 5 books "finished". 📚
My only problem is that I can't review my notes at this pace and incorporate everything into my life or business.
So, I need to work out a solution to this, so that I don't accidentally fall into the self-improvement trap of reading but doing nothing. 😰
For now, the best solution seems to be to set aside 2 hours on the weekends when I just deal with my notes and forge a concrete plan from them!
But, if you have a better idea, I'd love to hear it. Let me know in the comments! 📝
👷🏼♂️ Fix It Friday
Edu hasn't sent it out yet, but one thing is for sure, if all goes well, we'll be sending out new updates and fixes every week from now on.
It's up to Apple and Google alone how quickly they accept our updates. 😎
📖 What have I just read?
I finished 10X, it helped me a lot to really think in 10X goals. 🤯
I've already written myself a list of how I can 10X my efforts. I know it sounds brutal, but more and more I believe it's possible.
I read the "V" Myth - by Michael Gerber. It has been recommended so many times that I had to get started. And how well I did... 😌
It literally teaches you everything about running a successful business. Right from the objectives to the organizational structure. It will definitely be the next book I gift my brother.
📕 Book recommendations: By far the best book on starting a small business consciously. You'll find it summarized in BookBase!
And I'm done with "The Art of War" by Sun-ce back in the day. It's a must read for executives at Fortune 500 companies. ♟️
It's a bit abstract and really about how to win a war, but there are some principles in there that are still useful in today's marketplace.
🎧 What have I just listened to?
I listened to one of Steve Jobs' presentations where he talked about Start Strategies. Brutally bad quality, but the knowledge that's in there is priceless.
I also listened to a podcast while watching a match. Here the "AI Proof Company" part is particularly strong in my opinion:
